Privacy
What this site does with your data, in plain words.

Who is behind this site
Francisco Heinz Novara, trading as Pizca Fire Based Catering, based in Verbier, Valais, Switzerland. Write to hello@pizcaexperience.ch about anything on this page, including a request to see or delete what we hold about you.
Reading the site
The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any host, Cloudflare handles the technical data your browser sends to load a page, including your IP address, and keeps it briefly to block attacks and keep the site up. Cloudflare also measures how fast our pages load for real visitors. That measurement runs on every visit, sets no cookie and does not identify you.
Everything else comes from us. The fonts, the photos and the code are ours, served from the same place as the page. Until you accept the cookie banner, your browser does not contact Meta or Google while you read.
How we count visits
We count pages ourselves: which page was opened, in which language, from which country, whether it was a phone or a computer, and which site you arrived from.
We do not store your IP address and we do not set a cookie for this. The number that ties your pages together is invented by your browser, lives in the tab, and is gone when you close it. If your browser says do not track, we count nothing.
We also use Google Analytics, but only if you accept the cookie banner. It is described further down with the other tools.
When you write to us
The booking form and the contact form send us an email. It travels through Resend (Resend Inc., United States) and lands in our mailbox at Zoho (Zoho Corporation B.V., European Union). You get a copy of what you sent.
We keep those emails as long as we need them to answer you and to keep our books, which in Switzerland means ten years for anything tied to a job we did. Ask us to delete a message and we delete it, unless it belongs to a job we are required to keep records of.
Picking a date
The calendar shows which days are free. Your browser asks our server and our server asks our calendar, so nothing you type reaches the calendar company, and picking a date never asks you to pay.
Measurement and advertising tools
We use the Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.) and Google Analytics and Google Ads (Google Ireland Ltd.) to understand how people find our site and to measure whether our ads work. They only run if you accept them in the cookie banner. You can change your choice anytime via "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page. When active, these tools may collect technical data such as pages visited, clicks, device and browser type, IP address and cookie identifiers. When you send us an enquiry, they only record that a form was sent, never what you wrote. Meta and Google may process this data outside Switzerland, including in the United States, under appropriate safeguards. You can also manage your ad preferences at facebook.com/adpreferences and myadcenter.google.com. Questions: hello@pizcaexperience.ch
Links to Instagram and WhatsApp
The Instagram icon and the WhatsApp button are ordinary links. Nothing loads from either company while you are on our site. Click them and you leave, and their own rules apply from there.
What is stored in your browser
Your answer to the cookie banner, so we stop asking.
A random number for the visit, gone when you close the tab.
Small notes about where you were on the site, like the step of the form you reached, so a reload does not lose your answers.
None of it identifies you and no other site can read it.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to hello@pizcaexperience.ch and we answer within a day, usually the same one. If you think we handled your data badly, you can complain to the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner.
Changes
If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it.
