Everything people ask before they book

We're a live fire catering company in Verbier. Everything is cooked over fire, on site, for private dinners, corporate events and receptions across the Swiss Alps.

Seated dinner or family style → Live Fire.

Standing reception or cocktails → Fire Bites.

Plenty of nights run both: bites while people arrive, then everyone sits down for the fire.

Yes, and it usually is. Over 90% of our events end up tailor-made. The named menus are a starting point, not a limit. Tell us your guests and the occasion and we build around them.

Yes. Vegetarian, vegan and allergies, built into the menu rather than bolted on the side. Tell us when you book.

Private chalets, corporate gatherings and wineries, including Les Celliers de Sion in Valais, where we ran three sessions of 45 guests each with a menu built to pair with their wines of the year. In October 2026 we cooked for the Freeride World Tour: 100 guests at their villa in Pully, for the launch of the Freeride series.

Live Fire starts at CHF 90 per guest and Fire Bites at CHF 40, plus a flat setup fee: CHF 300 for Live Fire, CHF 400 for Fire Bites. Every menu is priced per guest, so you know what the night costs before you commit to it.

It brings the whole fire kitchen to you: grills, coals, wood, tools, prep, and taking it all away again. CHF 300 for Live Fire and CHF 400 for Fire Bites, flat either way, for a small table or a full room.

Live Fire has no minimum. We'll cook for a table of four the same way we cook for eighty. The flat setup fee is what lets us say yes to small tables. Fire Bites starts at 20 guests and four bites each, because a standing reception needs a room with people in it.

50% on confirmation, and the balance invoiced after the event. We confirm numbers 48 hours before so we can shop and prep. If guests are added after that, they go on the final invoice; if a few can't make it, the balance stays at the number we agreed, because the food was already bought and cooked.

Yes, that's most of what we do. All we need is an outdoor space. A deck or a balcony works; it doesn't have to be big.

An outdoor space. Nothing else. We bring the fire kitchen, the fuel, the tools and the prep. Cooking outside and serving inside is the usual setup anyway.

No. We cook outside, away from doors and windows, and we agree the exact spot with you before the day, by site visit or by photo. No smoke indoors, no alarms going off mid-dinner, nothing for the neighbours to complain about.

Yes. Decks and balconies are normal for us. On wood we lay protection underneath, so the surface is never at risk.

Yes, all year, snow included. Cold and wind don't stop the fire. Winter in the Alps is our busiest season, and the fire burning outside on a cold night is half the reason people book it.

All of Switzerland. Travel is included anywhere in Valais; outside the canton we quote it with the rest of the event.

For Live Fire, the food always comes to the table, on us. Dedicated servers looking after the table all night are an add-on. With Fire Bites people are standing and the bites get passed around, so the service staff add-on is a must.

Yes. Wine pairing runs at CHF 100 a bottle, handpicked to your menu, and bar service and a sommelier at the table are both add-ons. We can also work with the bottles you already have.

We arrive two to three hours before you eat, and the fire is lit within about half an hour of getting there. Service runs one to three hours from first plate to last, at whatever pace you want the night to go.

Send a request through the site or write to hello@pizcaexperience.ch, and you'll have availability and a price within 24 hours. No deposit and no card to ask. Nothing is locked until you say yes.

A week is usually enough. Ask anyway if it's sooner. If we can make it work, we will.

The deposit isn't refunded, but it doesn't disappear either: it becomes credit for another date.
